Ara : Bhojpur police with the help of their Delhi counterpart recovered two lovebirds after two months and brought them to Ara on October 29, 2017. Police sent the boy to jail and produced the girl before an Ara court on October 30 to get her statement recorded under section 164 CrPC. Police also brought the girl to Ara Sadar Hospital for her medical examination.

SHO, Tarari police station, Durga Kumar,  a painter in New Delhi and son of Bhagwan Sah of village Akraunja under Tarari police station, and a girl of the same village studied in a +2 school at Badakagaon  where they fell in love. On August 20, 2017, they fled away from their houses and tied nuptial knot at a temple at Bikramganj and went to Delhi.

The father of the girl had lodged an FIR with Tarari police station alleging kidnapping of his daughter. Police, on the basis of mobile surveillance, got clue that the girl was living in New Delhi. A police team from Bhojpur went to New Delhi and with the help of their counterpart there, arrested the love birds.
