Ara : Bhojpur police recovered a teenage girl and arrested her lover from Thane, Mumbai, in Maharashtra and brought them over to Ara on September 21, 2019. Police brought the girl over to Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination and also produced her before a local court on September 23, 2019, to get her statement recorded under Section 164 of CrPC. Police sent lover Sheikh Wahid of Hasan Bazaar village under the same police outpost to jail after interrogation.
SHO, Hasan Bazaar police outpost, said that a teenage girl of Hasan Bazaar village in Bhojpur district was missing for about three months and her family members had lodged a named FIR with Hasan Bazaar police outpost against Sheikh Wahid of the same village regarding kidnapping of the girl. He said that the girl went to Mumbai along with her lover after fleeing from her home.
After institution of FIR, police swung into action and on the basis of mobile surveillance got the whereabouts of the two love birds. A police team, on the direction of Bhojpur SP Sushil Kumar, went to Mumbai and recovered the girl from Thane and also arrested her lover Sheikh Wahid.
