Ara : District Education Officer (DEO), Bhojpur, has no record of the coaching institutions registered so far. The employees of the education department are searching for the record for the last two weeks but still clueless. Bihar Coaching Institute Control and Regulatory Act, 2010, has made it mandatory for coaching institutions to get themselves registered with the education department and no one can either establish or run a coaching institute without registration.
The coaching institutes had to register their institutions with the education department within a month of implementation of Act. They had to deposit registration fees of Rs 5,000. Over 200 coaching centres are running in different parts of Bhojpur district. Besides, a number of coaching institutions are being run in Buxar, Rohtas and Kaimur districts too.
