Bhojpur CS lodges FIR against two doctors

Ara : Bhojpur Civil Surgeon (CS) Dr Ras Bihar Singh on July 6, 2017, filed a named FIR with Sahar police station against the Medical Officer, Primary Health Centre (PHC), Sahar, Dr Harish Chandra Chaudhary, Dr Neyaz Asaraf,  and an employee of the PHC, Sudama Prasad, for allegedly issuing wrong  physically handicap certificates. Dr Neyaz Asraf has retired while the other two accused are still working.

Dr S N Singh, a  resident of village Ekwari under Sahar police station, who was earlier posted at Sahar PHC, had complained to Commissioner, Patna division, that two the doctors and the other employee issued  a number of fake physically handicap certificates allegedly on monetary consideration. He also complained that some persons are getting social security pension on the basis of such fake certificates. The Patna Commissioner directed the Bhojpur CS and Sahar Block Development Officer (BDO)  to lodge an FIR against the guilty persons after thorough inquiry.
