Bokaro ( Jharkhand) : Fifty year old Bermo businessman and owner of Bandhu Market of Phusro, Dwarka Mandal, was crushed to death by fast moving truck near Nirmal chowk on December 7 around 7.30 am when he was going to fetch milk and was crossing the road. The truck driver escaped with the vehicle before people could catch it . As soon as locals came to know about the death, dozens of residents blocked Jaina Mor—Phusro state highway for more than 2 hours demanding stoppage of movement of heavy vehicles on this road after which senior police officers arrived and persuaded people to withdraw their agitation saying their demands will be placed before Bokaro deputy commissioner and Bermo SDO after which the blockade was lifted. A case has been registered against unknown truck driver at Bermo police station.
