Gopalganj: Disturbed over the drinking habit of her husband, a housewife Archana Devi on December 7 lodged complaint against him with Manjha police station which arrested her husband Dhiraj Kumar Srivastava, a native of village Bhojpurwa. Police said that Dhiraj is a boozer and used to beat his wife after drinking daily. Sources said on Wednesday, he again beat his wife Archana Devi, who reached Manjha police station and sought help from the cops. Police reached Bhojpurwa and arrested Dhiraj. The arrested husband was taken to Gopalganj Sadar Hospital and after medical examination, he was forwarded to jail.
