Openers Sudip Kumar Gharami and Abhimanyu Easwaran (captain) scored 26 and 9 runs respectively while Manoj Tiwary scored 35 in 116 balls with 2 fours. Gharami fell to spinner Dharmendrasinh Jadeja while Easwaran fell to medium fast bowler Prerak Mankad, 25. Tiwary fell to medium fast bowler Chirag Jani, 30.

Saurashtra were all out for 425 runs in their first innings in the first session of play on Day 3. For Saurashtra Arpit Vasavada scored 106 while Cheteswar Pujara scored 66.
