Patna : Bangladesh beat Zimbabwe by 9 wickets in the 2nd T20I at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka, Bangladesh, on March 11, 2020, to win the two-match series 2-0. Bangladesh had won the toss but opted to bowl. Liton Das was declared both Player of The Match and Player of The Series. Bangladesh had earlier also won the three-match ODI series 3-0 against Zimbabwe besides winning the one-off test.

Chasing a target of 120 runs, Bangladesh scored 120/1 in 16.5 overs with opener Liton Das scoring an unbeaten 60 in 45 balls hitting 8 fours while his opening partner Mohammad Naim scored 33 in 34 balls with 5 fours. Soumya Sarkar remained unbeaten on 20 in 16 balls hitting 2 sixes.

Batting first, Zimbabwe had scored 119/7 in 20 overs with Brendon Taylor scoring 59 in 48 balls hitting 6 fours and a six while Craig Ervine made 29 in 33 balls with 3 fours. Captain Sean Williams fell to Mehidi Hasan for 3. For Bangladesh , Mustafizur Rahman and Al-Amin Hossian took two wickets each while Mohammad Saifuddin, Mehidi Hasan, and Afif Hossain took one wicket each.
