Begusarai ADM arrested accepting Rs 6 lakh as bribe

Patna : A State Vigilance Investigation Bureau team headed by a DSP arrested ADM, Begusarai in North Bihar, Om Prakash Prasad, from his residence on November 17, 2018, morning, accepting Rs 6 lakh as bribe from an advocate.

ADM Om Prakash Prasad had allegedly demanded Rs 15 lakh from the advocate to help him in mutation of a plot. The advocate had lodged a complaint with the Vigilance Bureau in this connection, which laid a trap to arrest the ADM. The vigilance bureau sleuths arrested the ADM accepting first instalment of the bribe.

Another Vigilance Bureau team seized Rs 5.6 lakh cash from his Patna residence during a search operation. A bureau official confirmed the arrest of Begusarai ADM.
