Sitamarhi : A large number of people welcomed Shree Ramayan Express special train at Sitamarhi railway station on November 17, 2018, morning. Around 800 pilgrims disembarked here here to visit Ram-Janki temples at Sitamarhi and Janakpur Dham (Nepal).

The special train originated from Safdarjung station (Delhi) and running on Ramayan circuit route reached here from Ayodhya, UP.  After 20 hours stay here it will leave for Varanasi.  The locals also intend to travel by the train in future. The fare is very competitive and other requirements are well managed by IRCTC. The people of Nepal received the pilgrims warmly on Indo-Nepal border.
