Barhara police station SHO suspended

Ara : Shahabad range DIG Md Rahman suspended SHO, Barhara police station in Bhojpur district, Sudeh Kumar on March 5 following custodial death of a mason Chhena  Tatwa on March 4, 2017, and subsequent mob violence on March 5 during which Barhara police station and some vehicles were set afire and block office vandalised. The SHO was suspended for dereliction of duty. An ASI Arvind Kumar and a Chowkidar  have also been suspended. Barhara is 16 km away from Ara, headquarters of Bhojpur district.
