Bagaha : SP, Bagaha, Arvind Kumar Gupta on November 17, 2017, reviwed law and order in the police district with SDPOs of Bagaha and Ramnagar besides SHOs of all the police stations in view of likely visit of CM Nitish Kumar to West Champaran district on November 20. SP Gupta directed all the SHOs to conduct regular raids and checking under their respective jurisdiction.
The SP asked all his sub- ordinates to arrest all the absconders and accused in cases of atrocities on women without delay. The SP said that implementation of prohibition and raids would be monitored by the SDPOs and Police Inspectors. SP Gupta also reviewed non- cognisable offence cases and asked investigating officers to file chargesheet in the court in stipulated period to ensure the accused were not granted bail.
