Bagaha SDM cancels licence 4 PDS shop owners

Bagaha : SDM, Bagaha, Ghanshyam Meena on March 8, 2018, cancelled the licence of four Public Distribution System (PDS) shops. Three of these  PDS shops were run by Rajdeo Tiwari of Dihi  panchayat under Bhitaha block, and Jhotil Parasad and Surendra Prasad of Naurangia Don  panchayat. Another PDS was located in Jogia panchayat under Ramnagar block under Bagaha sub-division in West Champaran district.

SDM Meena said that he had himself inquired into the complaints against the 4 PDS shop owners and detected gross irregularities in distribution of foodgrains and kerosene oil among consumers.
