Bagaha : ADJ I, Bagaha, Dipak Kumar Singh, on June 19, 2017, sentenced to four years’ rigorous imprisonment Lallan Yadav, son of Indrajit Yadav of village Khairatawa under Bagaha police station in West Champaran district for attempting to rape an eight year old girl on September 29, 2014. The court also slapped a fine of Rs 5,000 on the convict.
APP in charge BK Mall said that Lallan Yadav had attempted to rape the minor girl finding her alone at her house. But, the girl raised an alarm after which the accused escaped. An FIR was lodged with Bagaha police station in this connection by her parents.
