Arrested don Akhilsh Singh hails from Buxar dist

Buxar : Notorious criminal Akhilesh Singh, who was arrested by Jharkhand police with the help of their Gurugram, Haryana, counterpart on Octobr 11, 2017, is a native of village Dhananjaipur (Nagwan) under Simari police station in Buxar district. Akhilesh was carrying a reward of Rs 7 lakh on his head. Akhilesh is son of a former president, Jharkhand Policemen’s Association, Chandchud Singh, who was posted in Ranchi in Jharkhand.

Akhilesh was wanted in over 50 criminal cases including the murder of a jailor when he was watching cricket match at Kennan stadium, Jamshedpur, in Jharkhand. All the cases were filed in Jharkhand. Police got information that Akhilesh had taken shelter in Gurugram and was living in flat there in disguise. Police surrounded the flat and when they tried to arrest him, Akhilesh escaped but police shot at his leg and  arrested him. Later, police admitted him to a hospital.
