Ara : Md Irshad, Headmaster, Madrassa Wahadiya, filed a complaint with Town police station, Ara, against the national spokesperson of HAM (S) Md Danish Rizwan on January 12 alleging that Danish Rizwan and his brother thrashed and threatened him with dire consequences.

Md Irshad of Balbatara locality under Town Police Station said that Md Danish Rizwan along with his brother entered his chamber at the Madrassa in Tari Mohalla locality on January 11, 2017, and started forcing him to put Danish’s name in the managing committee of the Madrasasa and when he refused, they, pointing pistol, threatened him with dire consequences and also thrashed him. He also alleged that Md Danish Rizwan and his brother were trying to capture the lands of the madrassa.

Md. Danish Rizwan refuted all the charges describing as them baseless and added that general meeting of the Madrassa Wahadiya had not been held for the last 20 years and the Madrassa is being governed by fake committee. He said that the members of this committee were involved in largescale financial irregularities and also making fresh appointments of employees illegally.

Quoting the Bihar State Madrassa Board regulation, Md Danish Rizwan said that a new committee should be formed through a general meeting every five year but the Headmaster and other so called members of the fake committee of Madrassa Wahadiya are running the madarsa administration without meeting for the last 20 years. He said that he had written to the Ara SDO on January 10, 2017, requesting him to inquire into the matter. He said that a general meeting of the Madrassa Wahadiya has been convened on January 15, 2017, on the campus of the Madrassa and Bihar State Madrassa Board and Ara SDO have been informed about it. He said as he had initiated steps to regularize functioning of the Madrassa as per rule, the Headmaster complained to police  against him.
