Amitabh Das, IPS, promoted to Selection Grade

Patna : The state government on August 2, 2017, promoted Amitabh Kumar Das, a 1994 batch IPS officer and SP-cum- Assistant Commissioner, Civil Defence, Bihar, to Selection Grade with effect from December 18, 2008, the day his immediate junior Baldev Prasad was promoted to Selection Grade. The state Home ( Police) department issued a notification to this effect on August 2.   Baldev Prasad also belonged to 1994 batch of IPS. An IPS officer is generally promoted to Selection Grade after 13 years of continuos service
