Patna : Bihar Government on July 14, 2021, transferred 7 IPS officers including SPs of Aurangabad and Bhojpur districrs. Aurangabad SP Sudhir Kumar Porika, a 2010 batch IPS officer, and Bhojpur SP Rakesh Kumar Dubey have been transferred and shifted to Police Headquarters, Patna, in a sudden move. Dubey was appointed SP, Bhojpur, just a few months back.
Kantesh Kumar Mishra, a 2015 batch IPS officer and SP ( Rural), Patna, has been transferred and appointed SP, Aurangabad, replacing Sudhir Kumar Porika. Vinay Kumar Tiwary, another 2015 batch IPS officer and City SP ( Central), Patna, has been been transferred too and appointed SP, Bhojpur replacing Rakesh Kumar Dubey. Tiwary will also hold additional charge of Commandant, MMP, Ara.
Swarn Prabhat, a 2017 batch IPS offiecr and ASP ( Law & order), Patna, has been shifted and appointed City SP, Bhagalpur. Vinit Kumar (2017), SDPO, Danapur,has been shifted and appointed SP ( Rural), Patna. Ambrisjkl Rahul ( 2017), SDPO, Barh, has been shifted and appointed City SP ( Central), Patna. The Home (Police) department issued notifications to this effect on July 14, 2021.
