Ambedkar Residential School, Amarpur, students allege supply of poor food

Saharsa : All the four hundred inmates of Ambedkar Residential School Hostel, Amarpur, under Kahra block in Saharsa district are not eating the food being prepared by an NGO for the last two days. They  charged the NGO with not cooking food as per menu and instead forcing them to eat sub-standard food prepared by it. They alleged that the NGO was serving the same food everyday. The hostel inmates alleged that they were not being served Chapati (bread) during night nor given egg and milk. They also claimed that the school did not have teachers to teach Math, Science, English and Computerto students .

President of Chhatra Parishad, Jan Adhikar Party, Saharsa, Guddu Yadav, on March 4, 2017, visited the hostel and asked the school authorities to immediately improve the situation failing which his organisation would launch an agitation. Yuva Shakti General Secretary, Saharsa, Indal Yadav, state general secretary Santosh Kumar, Chandra Kishore Yadav, Naresh Nirala , Mukesh Kumar, Shankar Mandal, Niraj Kumar, Sanjay Suman, Panchanad Sah, Kundan, Rakesh, Sudip, Nirmal and Abhishekh, all student leaders, were also present on the occasion.
