He hammered 11 Aces in the match to 4 by Cilic. The Belgian won 4 games in a row to 2 by the Croatian.

Wawrinka, the winner of three Grand Slam titles and 7th seed, beat World No 45 Pablo Cuevas, 33, Uruguay, 6-3, 6-4 in 66 minutes to enter the 2nd round winning 2 break points besides 3 games in a row in the match. The Swiss fired 10 Aces in the match to just 1 by Cuevas.
