Ara : A liquor smuggler Prakash Chaudhary of village Bharauli village under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district who had escaped from police custody on March 19, 2019, when he was brought over to Ara Civil Court for production, surrendered in the court on March 26, 2019, under mounting police pressure.
SHO, Ara Town police station, said that Prakash Chaudhary was arrested with Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) on March 18, 2019, and police had brought him over to the Ara Civil Court for production on March 19 but he, taking advantage of laxity on the part of police personnel, escaped from there in handcuffs.
