Buxar : An abandoned newborn girl child was found in a bush near a Shiva Temple at village Keshopur under Tilak Rai ka Hata Police Outpost (OP) area in Buxar district on September 10, 2018, morning. Laxmi Devi, wife of late Prabhunath Mullah of Keshopur, found the child lying unattended in a bush after hearing her cry. She brought the child to her house on September 10 morning.
As the matter came to light, the villagers gathered in front of her house and informed the SHO, Tilak Rai ka Hata OP. SHO of the OP Manoj Kumar informed the Child Helpline, Dumraon, and he along with Chandan Kumar and
Afia Khatoon of the Child Helpline took the child under their custody. They sent the newborn to the Child Helpline after treatment at Primary Health Centre, Simari.
