Ara : Ravi Bhushan Pandey, 28, son of a retired Circle Officer (CO) Nathuni Pandey of Housing Colony under Nawada , Police station, Ara, was shot dead by some of his friends on December 19, 2016. An FIR was lodged with the police under Nawada police station but no arrest has so far been made in this regard. Reason behind the incident is yet to be ascertained.
SHO, Nawada Police Station, said that some friends of Ravi Raushan Pandey took him with them to their house at the Housing Colony and started playing Ludo. In the meantime, someone shot him on his head from behind killing him on the spot. Later, his friend locked the body in the house and called his elder brother Vikas Pandey.
When Vikas Pandey reached there, he noticed that his brother been killed. With the help of locals, he succeeded in opening the gate of the house and found the body of his brother lying in a pool of blood on the floor. They rushed him Ara Sadar Hospital where the doctor declared him brought dead. Police rushed to the spot and seized the mobile of the deceased and trying to locate the whereabouts of the miscreants on the basis of CDR and tower location of the miscreants. The SHO said that the police will arrest the miscreants at the earliest.
