Ara : Hundreds of activists of the Janadhikaar Party led by their Ara town president Avinash Kumar alias Laddu Yadav took out a procession that passed through the main thoroughfares of the town and reached Ara railway station on December 20  and stopped Buxar-Islampur passenger train at the railway station for about an hour. They resorted to agitation in protest against demonetisation without thinking about problems of the masses, failure of government to find some solution to deal with problems in the wake of demonetisation, and death of at least 103 persons in the country while standing in queue outside banks and ATMs.

The Janadhikar Party activists squatted on the rail track and also boarded the rail engine shouting slogans against the central government and PM Narendra Modi. As a result, a number of long distance trains remained stranded at different railway station under Danapur rail division. The daily passengers had to a face a lot of problems in reaching their offices.

Speaking on the occasion, Avinsh Kumar alias Laddu Yadav said that the PM was befooling people by talking about cashless economy when 50% of masses were still ignorant about internet. The demonetisation is a childish act, he said. He said the amazon, flipkart or snapdeal is trustworthy as they charge after delivery but Paytm will charge in  advance.
