Patna: Bihar Human Rights Commission (BHRC) on November 14 directed Executive Engineer, Electricity Division, Khagaria, and SDPO (incharge, Alauli ) to appear before it on November 29, 2016, along with Action Taken Report (ATR) in connection with the electrocution of nine year old girl Krishna Kumari on October 6,ra 2016, as a result of which both her hands were amputated at PMCH on October 16,2016.
Bhupendra Yadav, son of late Sone Lal Yadav of village Uttar Tola under Alauli police station in Khagaria district had hhhcomplained to the commission that his 9 year old dauthter Krishana Kumari was electrocuted on October 6, 2016, by a 11 KV hanging electrical wire while playing on the roof top of his relative Santo Yadav at his village.
She got the electric shock and her both hands were badly damaged. She was rushed to Alauli hospital, then to Bhagalpur Medical College and finally to PMCH where both her hands were amputated on October 16, 2016. She is under treatment and fighting for life at PMCH. The petitioner further alleged that electricity was not scrapped despite intimation by the villagers and also no action has been taken by the SHO, Alauli, on his complaint on October 19.
