Bagaha: A state vigilance investigation bureau  team led by Patna and Muzaffarpur DSPs Kamod Kumar and Mohd. Khalid respectively conducted raid at the village and Lauria houses of a former Mukhiya of Marahiya – Pakari Panchayat in West Champaran district Manager Yadav on  Sunday and detected unaccounted property worth over  Rs 1.5  crore including papers of  six residential plots and 13 Bigha of agriculture land, two tractors, a Bolero  jeep and a bullet bike.

The vigilance DSPs said that few members of the team had earlier visited Yadav’s village and confidentially inquired into matter and a case was lodged with Patna vigilance police station on November 11 in this connection and then  raid was conducted. According the vigilance team, Manager Yadav had filed an affidavit in 2010 Panchayat election  that he owned only 15 kattha of landed property. In the 2015 poll affidavit, he had mentioned that he owns 13 bigha of agriculture land and six residential  plots. He had lost panchayat poll in 2015.t The vigilance team handed over his ovable property to Lauria police station.
