Bokaro (Jharkhand) : A fun food fete- FOODIE FAIR – was organised at DPS Bokaro (Primary Wing) to mark Children’s Day  on November 14, 2019. The school was decorated with vibrant posters and banners reflecting the creativity of the students. A special assembly with dance and song performances was conducted by the teachers to show their affection for the students.

This was the maiden year of the fair and it witnessed an excited gathering of students. Over six stalls were set up to showcase the diversity of Indian cuisine apart from Jhal Moori, Papdi Chaat, and Fruit Salad. Competitions like ‘Hit the target’ and ‘Basket the Ball’ challenges were also organised.

Inaugurating the ‘Foodie Fair’, Principal DPS Bokaro, Jharkhand, A  S Gangwar, wished the students a happy Children’s Day and remarked that children are the purest creation of the Almighty. They are the storehouse of potentials and must be nurtured with love and care so that they grow up to become spirited, courageous, and strong individuals.
