Elderly woman dies in accident at Bhojpur village

Ara : A speeding motorcycle dashed a sexagenarian woman on Keshavpur-Saraiya main road near Neknam Tola under Barhara police station n Bhojpur district killing her on the spot. on May 16, 2019. She was going to Neknam Tola for collecting her wage.

Irate villagers blocked Keshavpur-Saraiya main road with the body of the deceased paralysing the movement of vehicles for about two hours. They were demanding arrest of the culprit besides a compensation of Rs 5 lakh compensation to the next of kin of the deceased.

The blockade was lifted after the positive response from the police officials. Late, police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The deceased was identified as Tetari Devi, 60, wife of Vishwanath Bind of village Keshavpur under Barhara police station.
