Sasaram : Some armed miscreants shot dead Jitendra Nat, 19, at Vishrampur Nat Tola under Sasaram Mufassil police station in Rohtas district on April 28, 2019, evening.
Police seized the body and brought it over to Sasaram Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. An FIR has been lodged with Sasaram Mufassil police station but no arrest has so far been made in this connection. Old enmity is said to be the cause behind the incident.
SHO, Sasaram Mufassil police station, Kameshwar Kumar said that Jitendra Nat of Dulhinganj under Jagdishpur police station in Bhojpur district lived with his brother-in-law Amresh Nat at Vishrampur Nat Tola under Sasaram Muffassil police station in Rohtas district since his childhood. On April 28, 2019, evening, few villagers took Jitendra Nat to the market where some unidentified miscreants pumped three bullets into his body. The villagers rushed him to Sasaram Sadar Hospital but he succumbed to his injuries on way to the hospital.
