Patna : Five parliamentary constituencies (PCs) of Bihar will go to polls in the fourth phase of General Elections 2019 on April 29. Polls will be held in five Parliamentary Constituencies (PC) namely Darbhanga, Ujiyarpur, Samastipur (SC), Begusarai, and Munger. Sixtysix candidates including 20 Independents and 3 women are in the fray for these 5 Lok Sabha seats.
As per the data available, there are 87,02,313 voters in these 5 PCs of which 46,35,071 are males, 40,67,009 females, and 233 third gender voters. Altogether 8,834 Polling stations have been set up in these five PCs for smooth conduct of polls in the state., according to a PIB release.
The NDA is contesting all these 5 Lok Sabha seats with the BJP fielding its nominees from three of them while JD(U) and LJP are contesting one seat each. The RJD and Congress are contesting two seats each while RLSP is contesting one. The BSP is contesting from four seats.
