Ara : National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bhubaneshwar, has given recognition to the Education Department (B.Ed), Veer Kuer Singh University (VKSU), Ara, paving the way for the students to get themselves admitted to the B.Ed course in the academic session 2019-2021.
Registrar, VKSU, Col Shyamnand Jha, said that after getting recognition from the NCTE, Bhubaneshwar, the VKSU administration is contacting Nalanda Open University (NOU), Patna, to initiate admission process in the B.Ed course from the current session. He said that the VKSU would seek separate date from the NOU for counselling for the admission of students to the B.Ed course.
It may be mentioned here that the recognition of the Education Department (B.Ed course), VKSU, for the academic session 2018-2020 was cancelled by the NCTE as it failed to meet to its guidelines including adequate number of teachers and non-teaching employees.
