Youth dies in accident near Salempur in Bhojpur

Ara : Nitish Kumar, 20, son of Raj Kishor Singh of village Nasaratpur under Sandesh police station in Bhojpur district was crushed to death by a speeding tractor near Salempur on Ara-Salempur-Jalpura main road under Chandi police station on March 2, 109, evening, when he was coming to Ara to bring his father and brother. Nitish’s friend Ritik Kumar of the same village was injured in the accident.

Police brought the body over to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for post-mortem and admitted the injured there. An FIR was lodged by Chandi police station on the statement of Shailendra Kumar, elder of the deceased.

SHO, Chandi police station, said that Nitish Kumar along with his friend Ritik Kumar was coming to Ara on his motorcycle. When he reached near Salempur village under Chandi police station, a speeding tractor collided head on with the motorcycle killing Nitish Kumar on spot and injuring Ritik Kumar.
