Man killed in Bhojpur accident

Ara : A sexagenarian Sidhnath Pandit was killed after a speeding motorcycle dashed him near Ramdatahi brick kiln under Karnamepur police outpost in Bhojpur district on February 19, 2019, evening. Later, police brought over the body to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for post-mortem though they had to face a strong protest of the villagers.

SHO, Karnamepur police outpost, Santosh Kumar, said that Sidharth Pandit of village Prasaundha was returning from his field with fodder on February 19 evening. When he reached near a brick kiln at Ramdatahi village, a speeding motorcycle dashed him and escaped from the spot. Police admitted him to Sadar Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
