Teenage girl kidnapped from Bhojpur village, FIR lodged against 5 persons, 1 held

Ara : A named FIR was lodged on January 28, 2019, with Sandesh police station in Bhojpur district against five persons including three women in connection with kidnapping of a teenage girl. Police arrested one of the named accused Mahesh Ram and sent them him to jail after interrogation. Police are conducting raids to recover the girl and also arrest the rest of the named accused.

SHO, Sandesh police station, Sudeh Kumar, said that Leelavati Kumari of village Chela under Sandesh police station lured a teenage girl of the village and brought her to her residence and handed her over the girl to one Sonu Kumar of village Kasap under Udwantnagar police station, who was waiting there for her, with the help of her husband Mahesh Ram, Pushpa Devi and Sandhya Devi. The father of the girl lodged a named FIR against Leelavati Kumari, her husband Mahesh Ram, Sandhya Devi, Pushpa Devi and Sonu Kumar in connection with kidnapping of his daughter.
