EOU raid at pvt bank at Khaira village in Bhojpur, two arrested

Ara: A team of Economic Offence Unit (EOU) led by Inspector Rajan Prasad Singh conducted raid at Gaibya Gramya Vikas Credit Co-opertive Society at village Khaira under Sahar police station on Tuesday and sealed the bank. The EOU team also arrested the manager of the bank Avinash Kumar, son of Kedar Singh of Hatimgnaj, and the landlord Ram Surat Mahto, son of Janaki Singh of Khaira village under Sahar police station, and took them to Patna. The EOU team raided the second branch at Anisabad at Patna simultaneously in connection with another case related to embezzlement of huge public money. The bank had reportedly got lakhs of rupees deposited of hundreds of people in fixed deposit and monthly accounts.
