Buxar : A married woman Lakhmunia Devi, 40, wife of Nathuni Paswan, was beaten to death at Adarsh Nagar under Simari block under Tilak Rai Police Outpost in Buxar district on May 7, 2018, night, when she was sleeping. Police brought the body over to Buxar Sadar Hospital for post-mortem on May 8.
SHO, Tilak Rai Police Outpost, said that Lakhmunia Devi was sleeping at her house along with her children when someone thrashed her to death. Her husband works outside Bihar. An FIR has been lodged with Tilak Rai Police Outpost but no arrest has so far been made in this conection.
