Muzaffarpur : Police arrested a notorious criminal Babar after an encounter with criminals at Dumri under Paroo police station in Muzaffarpur district on April 6, 2018, late night. Police chased the criminals when they were escaping after lobbing bombs at the house of Saraiya trader.
The Dumri encounter lasted for a few hours during which Babar was injured after which police arrested him. Babbar is being interrogated.
Muzaffarpur SSP Vivek Kumar on April 6, 2018, nightsaid that police had succeeded in arresting Babar who wanted in more than two dozen criminal cases. Babar is a don of western diara ( riverine belt) area of the district.
