Land labourer crushed to death by speeding vehicle in Bhojpur

Ara : A sand labourer Upendra Rai, 30, was crushed to death by a speeding vehicle at Chandi Chowk under Chandi police station in Bhojpur district on January 23, 2018.

Upendra Rai, son of Ramanand Rai of village Kutukpur Chakia under Doriganj police station in Saran district, was living at village Zamira under Ara Muffassil Police Station for the last eight months. On January 23 morning, he was going to Chandi road on a three wheeler to upload sand. As he got down from the three wheeler at Chandi Chowk, a speeding four- wheeler dashed him. The locals rushed him to Ara Sadar Hospital but he succumbed to his injuries on way to the hospital.
