Youth shot dead, another injured at Buxar village

Buxar : Four persons shot dead a youth Shankar Yadav and injured another at village Basauli under Industrial Area police station in Buxar district in the late evening on December 8, 2017, and escaped unchallenged.

Police brought the body to Buxar Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and admitted the injured there. Old enmity is said to be the cause behind the incident. Police also recovered a blank cartridge from the spot. Police cordoned off the area and conducting raids to arrest the miscreasnts.

Shankar Yadav was son of Parashuram Yadav of village Basauli under Indistrial Area police station while the injured was identified as Abhimanyu Singh, son of Rangnath Singh of village Chilbila under Itadhi police station. A named FIR was lodged with Industrial Area police station against Manoj Yadav, Lucky Yadav, Mantu Ojha and Punit Dubey on the statement of the injured Abhimanyu Singh.

Shankar Yadav and Abhimanyu Singh, who were praparing for army recruitment test, were scudding  when the accused waylaid them and fired on them killing Shankar Yadav on the spot and injuring Abhimanyu Singh.
