Two members of inter-district gang arrested in Buxar

Buxar : Police arrested two members of an inter- district gang of criminals with the help of residents of village Goppur in Buxar district  on December 4, 2017, and also seized firearms and live cartridges from their possession.

The arrested criminals were identified as Ritesh Yadav and Jhabaru Singh of village Natwar in Rohtas district. Several cases are lodged with different police stations in Bhojpur, Buxar, Rohtas, Patna and Kaimur districts against them and police of these districts were searching for them for years. After their arrest, Bhojpur, Patna and Rohtas police have rushed to Buxar for interrogating them.
SHO, Sikraul police station, Rajkumar said that Ritesh Yadav and his associate Jhabaru Singh were trying to steal a goat at village Goppur under Sikraul police station in Buxar district on December 4 but the villagers caught them and handed them over to police after thrashing them.
