Buxar court convicts man for raping and killing girl in Oct 2016

Buxar : Additional District and Sessions Judge 1, Buxar Civil Court, Ashok Kumar Pandey on November 7, 2017, convicted Anup Singh of Buxar for killing a teenage girl after outraging her modesty. The quantum of punishment will be announced on November 10 2017. Later, police arrested Anup Singh and sent him to jail.

Anup Singh of Buxar forcibly took the  14 year old girl to a secluded place in the morning on October 10, 2016, when she was going to the market to bring milk and outraged her modesty. When she protested, he strangulated her to death. A named FIR was lodged with Buxar town police station in this connection but police had not arrested him.
