Man kidnapped and killed at Buxar village

Buxar : Some unidentified armed persons killed a sexagenarian Gulab Ram, son of Ram Vilas Ram, at village Laxmipur village under Buxar Muffassil police station in Buxar district, by slitting his  throat on late August 22, 2017, night. Police recovered the body near a boring at the village on August 23 morning.

Later, police brought the body to Buxar Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. An FIR has been lodged with Buxar Muffassil police station but no arrest has so far been made in this regard. Angry  villagers blocked Buxar-Chausa main road for about three hours with the body of the deceased and demanded immediate arrest of the culprits and compensation to his next of kin.

Brij Bihari Ram, son of the deceased, said that his father was  a wood cutter and had some dispute with Kripa Rai, son of Indradeo Rai, and Surendra Rai, son of Vanshi Rai of Kritpura village, over a piece of land. He said that some persons had kidnapped his father late August 22 evening and killed him.
