956 cartons of foreign liquor seized in Muzaffarpur on Mar 1

Muzaffarpur : Police on March 1, 2017, night seized 401 cartons of foreign liquor from a vehicle under Bochaha police station in Muzaffarpur district. Muzaffarpur SSP Vivek Kumar said that 401 cartons containing bottles of Royal Stag was seized by police from a pick-up van though its driver managed to escape. Police are verifying as to from where the liquor consignment was brought over, the SSP said adding it is obvious it was brought over from outside Bihar.

The SSP said on March 1. 2017, morning, police had seized 450 cartons of foreign liquor ( Royal Stag) under Brahmpura police station, Muzaffarpur. Muzaffarpur SSP Kumar has constituted an SIT to check smuggling of liquor into Muzaffarpur district.
