Gaya : Around a dozen unidentified criminals on February 28, 2017, night killed a differently abled person Upendra Pandey, 50, by setting his house afire at village Narawat under Atri police station in Gaya district. Pandey died in the fire. He was alone at home when the criminals set it ablaze and escaped. Police recovered his charred body on March 1, 2017, morning. Police are yet to ascertain reasons behind Pandey’s killing. Sources said that the criminals first called Pandey out but when he did not come out sensing trouble they set his house afire.
