Bagaha : Foodgrains meant for Mid- day meal (MDM) for children of Government Primary School, Khotahawa under Dhanaha police station under Bagaha Sub-division in West Champaran district,  was stolen by a gang of thieves on May 2, 2017, night from the school godown. Headmaster Binita Gupta said that 9 bags of  rice (4.5 quintals) kept in the school godown were stolen by the thieves.

When the teachers reached the school on May 2 morning, they found lock of the godown broken and the rice bags missing. The Headmaster immediately informed the Mukhiya’s husband Lalbabu Prasad and other members of the Education Committee about it. Dhanaha police station SHO Rajesh Kumar said that the Headmaster of the school had complained about theft of rice and police were looking into the matter.
