Sasaram : Rohtas district administration sealed 7 slaughter houses and also issued notices to 28 others under  Bikramganj sub-division in the district on April 1, 2017.  SDO, Bikramganj, Rajesh Kumar, said that after the order of Patna High Court, he had asked the owners of  all the slaughter houses to close them by March 20, 2017, but they did not comply with the order. The district administration sealed 7 slaughter houses and also demolished their structures. It also issued notices to 28 others asking them to wind up their business immediately failing which action would be taken against them. The SDO said that the owners of sealed slaughter houses had encroached upon the government land. He directed CO, Bikramganj, Rajeev Ranjan to remove encroachments and measure the government land.
