Chas (Jharkhand) : Seven students of DPS Chas in Bokaro District in Jharkhand brought laurels to their alma mater by excelling at two- day Gita recital competition which concluded on December 1, 2019, at Chinmaya Mission School, Bokaro Steel city.The competition was organised by Chinmaya Mission in which 11 schools of the city participated.
Navdip Kumar Mahto of DPS Chas bagged first position in Group D recitation group while Khushi Shandilya and Astha Pathak of the same school got second and third rankings respectively. Earlier on November 30, 2019, in group B Ashrita got first rank and Sakshi got second rank. In Group A, Ritika got third place while Arnav Kumar got fifth ranking in Group C.
DPS Chas team, which excelled at the competition, was trained under the supervision of Dr Padmalaya besides Virendra Kumar and Sonika.
DPS Chas principal Neelkamal Sinha hailed the grand success of her students hoping them will excel at all competitions in future and even thanked the teachers for their fine effort.
