Patna : An Army Jawan Vishunu Sharma shot dead his wife and sister-in-law (Saali) in a moving car and then shot himself dead in a moving car in a fit of anger while going to Patna in his four-wheeler at 10.30 am on December 1, 2019. Vishunu was posted in Gujarat. His father is also in army and is posted in Tamil Nadu.
Vishnu, a native of village Lalganj under Aayar police station in Bhojpur District, was going to Patna for treatment as he was suffering from Dengue for the past few weeks. When the car was passing through Raniatalab police station in Patna District, Vishnu had a tiff with his wife and her sister after which he took out his revolver and fired on them and then shot at himself., said SHO, Raniatalab Police Station. Vishnu’s two children escaped unhurt in the incident.
The sound of firing created sensation in the area and people rushed to the place of occurrence and took out the two kids from the car. Police rushed Vishnu, his wife, and sister-in-law to a local hospital where the doctors declared them brought dead.
