Buxar : Police seized 6,228 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) packed in 131 cartons and loaded in a Pick-Up van near village Navadih under Koransarai police station in Buxar district on September 3, 2018, though the driver of the van escaped seeing cops.
SHO, Koransarai police station, Jai Prakash said that he got information that a big consignment of IMFL was being smuggled on a Pick-Up van. The SHO along with police force started vehicle checking drive and when a Pick-Up van bearing registration number of Uttar Pradesh was seen, police intercepted it but the driver jumped of the vehicle and escaped. The SHO said that when police searched the Pick-Up van, 6,228 bottles of IMFL packed in 131 cartons were found hidden under the pile of vegetables. Police seized the van.
