5 liquor smugglers held in Bhopur, 169 bottles of IMFL seized

Ara : Police, on a tip off, conducted raids at different places under Bihia and Shahpur police stations in Bhojpur district on September 13, 2018, and seized 169 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and arrested five liquor smugglers.

The arrested liquor smugglers were identified as Ahok Kumar Singh of Gangahar under Ara Muffassil Police Station, Amar Kumar and Manish Pal of Maulabagh under Ara Town police station, Ajit Kumar of Pitaro village under Agiaw police station, and Guddu Siddiqui of Bihia under Bihia police station. Later, police sent them to Ara jail under judicial custody after lodging FIR under the Prohibition & Excise Act.
